Out in the daylight, for the first time in who knows how long.
We’re in the process of cleaning out my grandparents’ old house, so I spent part of the weekend going through their cellar. The most interesting thing I found was this wooden creeper; a Model J Jeepers Creeper by Lisle Corporation.
I’m familiar with Lisle, and have a few of their more recent tools. I’m unsure of the age of this thing, though I think it’s on the newer side as the rollers are made of nylon (
though, they do have Pat. Pending molded on them
). I’ll clean it up a bit (
mainly get the dirt off
), and it will probably eventually end up hung on the wall as a decoration.
Other finds include the Black & Decker power tools below, and a few hand tools (
which I didn’t grab a picture of
). A lot of the hand tools were in really rough shape (
almost entirely rust, with plating peeling off.
)

Metal or plastic wheels? Regardless, they are pretty neat, though not exactly comfortable compared to modern creepers!

yea his definitely got replaced with a modern version. I want to say black wheels, so probably plastic. MY grandfather had an electric black and decker hedge trimmer. It was weak.
